I Learn Something New Every Day

F. Scott Fitzgerald

F. Scott Fitzgerald said, “The true test of a first rate mind is the ability to hold two contradictory ideas at the same time.”

One of the biggest lesson’s I’ve learned here is that there are two sides to everything… my way of thinking, though might be good, sound or logical, may not be the best way and certainly not the only way. The best thing that I can do is put myself in the other person shoes… try and think what they may be thinking… then, based on that, come up with the best answer. I also have to realize that not everyone else has realized this concept yet. So on some occasions, the best I can do is swollow my pride and SMILE. :)

  4. Ok, so this one was a little weird. The comment was not related to a specific incident. I saw this quote and I was just trying to point out that there are at least two ways to look at everything… being over here is just opening my eyes to look the other way! :)
