When in Rome
Sasha and I found that 4 days is far to short to see all there is to see there. Wow - what a place. Rome is a totally huge city which lies on top of some of the coolest, oldest, most historical places ever. Just amazing to think about some of the people who have walked there where we were walking. The first day we went over to the Colleseum and the ancient ruins. We spent practically the whole day there.
The Colleseum:
This picture sort of sums up Rome… there we are… being goofy… or normal, if you will…. and there in the background is a structure just behind the colleseum… probably been there for only a few hundred years!! Wow!!
The ruins were incredible… almost an entire city itself… so so so old!
One thing was for sure that we got a lot of great tourist shots!!
One cool thing was that we got to see the prision where Peter, and possiblly Paul were in at one time. In this picture the prision is the building on the very far right side.
Here it is up closer….
The front on the prision…
Peter was lowered through this manhole down into the cell.
And here it is…. unclothed, this is where Peter was inprisioned. Wow… can you even imagine. It was a very solom place as you can imagine….
I’ve been told that I make these too long and there really is SO MUCH to share here so I’ll end this for now.
Stay tuned!!

Colleseum? Inprisioned? Jessie I’m installing a spellchecker on this thing for your christmas present.

LUKE. For cryiin’ out loud!!
Okay… it’s true. I might as well confess: I am the world’s worst speller. I am. Many of you do not know this, I’m sure, as I have spell check spell check each and every one of my e-mails before it leaves my in-box. My website, however, does not provide this wonderful, life-saving functionality…. and so my secret is out.
Luke, as an English major and the ‘master-mind’ behind my website, please, give me spell checker! Save these innocent folks from my horrible crime!!!
;)
