Sushi Sushi Sushi
This weekend was full of sushi!! Good thing ‘cause I loooooove sushi! 
Friday night Brandi and I went to try another ’sushi-on-an-escalator’ restaurant. This one is brand new - and right down the street!! It was the same (even same chain I believe) as the one Simone and I went to back in the fall. Good stuff. It was Brandi’s first sushi experience so it was fun to show her the ropes!
Saturday, Heidi called to say that she and her roommate Abby were havin’ some peeps over for sushi. Yippee!! I’ve made sushi twice before (both times in the same week) and have found it to be quite a fun event - great get together idea! Most of the people were new to me - besides Abby and Heidi. They all go to the same church - Calvery Chapel. So it was cool to get to meet some new people and hang out.

And one interesting thing that I learned about myself this weekend: soy sauce makes me swell. No joke. I am a salt lover so this strikes me as very odd but soon after I ate sushi on Friday, my eyes began to swell. When I woke up Saturday they were swollen BAD. Real, real puffy. Weird.
I don’t know why I have such a fascination with takin’ real close pictures of my eye… but I am. You can see I’m aging in this one. Check out my wrinkles!! Man!! My camera has a macro setting - it’s obviously a little TOO good. Errr… maybe I’ll just quit takin’ those close pictures. haha

FYI… my vonage is still not working… and it’s ruining my life.
