Learning Hungarian
Well, I am learning Hungarian. I think I know maybe even a little more than Spanish now. Many say, “why are you learning Hungarian? You’ll never use it when you come back to the States and everyone at work speaks English!” Well, I know… but who knows really how long I’ll be here and seriously, when you live in another country, it is quite helpful to know the language. So I am trying. 
…but it’s hard. In fact, today, I was talking with one of the Hungarians at work about how difficult a language it is - the structure is just WAY different than English, Spanish, French or German. It is just very very different. The guy I was talking this over with said, “BUT, if you can learn Hungarian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic and all the Asia Pacific languages will be much easier to learn!” lol - uuuuuuhhh… ok. That doesn’t really actually give me MORE incentive. heehee - good try though.
good luck, it’s not as hard as you think. (translate this sentence!)
by the way when we had to learn english, we had the same problems
(from the other side of course), and look how many hungarians can speak english!
anyway i really like to read your blog, i enjoy watching how a foreigner live here,
what you think about our country.
