Pictures of Strangers

Some of my best experiences that I wish I could share with you all are those experiences I have just sitting/walking/wandering around Budapest. For example, lots of my friends say, “well take a picture so I can SEE how pretty the girls are in Hungary”. Yes - that was a sample of what a GUY friend says to me frequently. Well it is NOT easy to take pictures of strangers. I have an example.

So Simone and I were sitting at a restuarant on Vaci Utca, one of the famous walking streets in Budapest, and there was this crazy commotion - a WHOLE bunch of guys from Norway (eek - forgive me I can’t remember really which Nordic country it was - may not have been Norway) were swarming around. They were all dressed up and chanting and singing. I decided to ’sneak’ a shot of one of them.

Oh no... is he looking at ME??

Now oddly, does it not look like this guy is looking right at me as I snapped this shot?? Yeah. He was.

New best friend

So yeah… the guy saw me taking a picture of him and decided to give us a better shot. How embarassing. THIS is exactly why it is difficult to take pictures of strangers!! heehee :)

  1. What kind of a person would ask you to such a tasteless and tacky thing. Of course this scoundrel is a male! Probably one of those guys who’s favorite resteraunt is HOOTERS? Did the Norwegian love hammer here have any daughters? That woulda been awesome if you coulda snapped ‘em!
