Tongue Twister
I took Hungarian classes for the first six months that I was here. I tried to take them once again this ’semester’ but was not able to because of meeting conflicts. I think I will pick it up again in Feb. We’ll see. However, that doesn’t stop one from learning.
The folks at work have been helping me learn some things here and there. For example:
Nem minden szarka farka tarka, csak a tarka farkú szarka farka tarka.
It means, not all kinds of magpies have medley tails, only the medley-tailed kind of magpie has medley tails. Useful. I know.
But hey at least it sounds cool!!!
